Welcome to Funding Trek! I’m Don Baker, your
Chief Funding Guide here at Funding Trek.

For 25 years, I’ve been involved in helping to launch early stage ventures and technology commercialization efforts. In the process, I’ve worn a lot of hats:

Partner and co-founder of a boutique law firm aimed at serving early stage technology businesses, with special interest in content publishing and software.

Founder of Science Commercialization Ventures, a business aimed at investing in technologies emerging from university and federal laboratories.

Company Advisor to two different economic development venture investors.

My goal is to help you find the best path to the funding you need to launch your start-up, early stage business or technology innovation. It’s a great tragedy when great business ideas and technologies can’t get launched because the funding process is so confusing and unfamiliar.
